Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This is an English translation for convenience. The Turkish version of this notice is the legally binding text.

Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), Nihan Minareci — Craft Paper Co. (sole proprietorship) ("Craft Paper Co."), as data controller, provides the following information about how your personal data is processed.

Personal data processed

Identity (name and surname), contact (address, phone, email), customer transaction (order details, wall measurements, design preferences, room photos shared via WhatsApp), finance (payment transaction record — card details are processed by iyzico and are not stored by us), marketing (newsletter preference), transaction security (IP, cookie and device information).

Purposes and legal grounds

  • Receiving, producing, delivering and invoicing your order — establishment and performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c)
  • Keeping invoice and accounting records — legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç)
  • Customer service, measurement checks and design process communication — legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f)
  • Newsletter and promotional messages — explicit consent (Art. 5/1); you can withdraw it at any time

Transfers

Your personal data is shared, only as far as necessary for the relevant purpose, with our e-commerce platform (Shopify Inc. — servers are located abroad), our payment institution (iyzico), shipping companies (Aras, Yurtiçi, UPS/FedEx/DHL), our accounting/e-invoice service provider and, where legally required, authorised public authorities. Transfers abroad are made with your explicit consent or with the safeguards set out by the Board under KVKK Art. 9.

Retention

Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by law (10 years); room photos and design files for up to 3 years after the order is completed; marketing permissions until consent is withdrawn.

Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request its deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom it was transferred, to object to a result against you arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.
